Holy Monastery of Panagia Chrysopigi in Divri

One of the most important Monasteries of Ilia and Greece is that of the Holy Monastery of Panagia Chrysopigi Ano Divris. After the village of Lampia (Divri), the uphill road leads us to the main monastery, literally lost in the fir trees, at a height of 1,150 meters. The monastery was built in the 17th century (1667) by Osios Ioakim the New from Skiadas of Achaia. The katholikon of the monastery is covered with excellent hagiographies.
