Camera Zizanio

The Zizanio European Youth Visual Creative Meeting, was established in 2001 and is held simultaneously with the Olympia International Children and Young Film Festival every December in Pyrgos, Ilia. Camera Zizanio is competing for films made by children and young people upto 20 years of age. The films can be either individual or collective work (through workshops, cinema groups, educational programs, etc.), with a duration of not more than 10 minutes. Camera Zizanio consists of three sections: European (Competitive), Greek (Competition) and International (Informative).
Nowadays, Camera Zizaniois the most important pan-European event, presenting and highlighting young audiovisual creations. One of the most creative activities of Camera Zizanio and the Olympia Film Festivalis the cinema to graphic workshops where film professionals offer young people their knowledge and experience so that they can narrate their own stories through the camera: participants, high school students , lyceums and students, get acquainted with the language and the technique of cinema, create their own scripts, turn and mount short films.
