Glarentza Castle in Killini

The castle of Glarentza is part of the ancient fortified city of Clarentia or Clarentia or Clarence, which existed during the Frankish era. In this ancient city was also the first port of Ilia, which was once one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean. Glarentza Castle was also supported by the Chlemoutsi fortress, which is located in the same area as Glaredza is approximately 5-6 km from Chlemoutsi and 12-13 km from Andravida.
