Katakolo (Plakes – Renata) in Pyrgos

Plakes beach or today’s name of Renata, Katakolo, is located behind the harbor of the area. In recent years it has been upgraded considerably and is now one of the most picturesque, beautiful beaches in the community. The beach surrounds artificial and natural rocks, is an organized beach with clear blue waters suitable for swimming. In fact, at the beach there is also a Sea Track which serves Disabled People. The installation of the Sea Track at Katakolos Beach in Plakes was the starting point for making this place the first choice for stroller travelers arriving in the area either by road or by cruise ships.
