St. Helias in Pyrgos

Another famous beach in the Prefecture of Ilia, is that of Agios Ilias, the village of the same name located in the south Ionian opposite the island of Zakynthos. It is a great beach, as it is suitable for dynamic summer excursions, sports activities and endless dives, in its blue and cool waters. In fact, Kite School for beginners works and is famous even for winter lovers of sea sports. Each year, the beach of Agios Elias is bustling with life, with most bathers enjoying the Kite Surf apart from their dives. Access to the beach is fairly easy and has not been accidentally described as “California of Ilia”. It is a beach with a golden coast, organized that is preferred by foreign and local visitors.
