Zacharo beach in Zacharo

The beach of Zacharo is a beautiful endless beach with golden beaches and crystal clear waters. It has even been awarded by the EU. with the blue flag, for its beauty and the purity of its waters. Here the holidaymakers can indulge in windsurfing and other water sports. They can also make romantic walks over the idyllic sunset views. Access to the beach is quite easy from Pyrgos – Kyparissia National Road and is approximately 27 kilometers from the capital of the Prefecture, Pyrgos. It is one of the largest beaches, and it is a continuation of the Kyparissia Gulf. There also can be found here, Caretta – Caretta turtles, which find shelter in the region at the time of their breeding.
