The Tourist Gates

The two ports of Ilia Prefecture, Katakolo and Killini are two points that make up the hub of tourism. On the one hand Katakolo with the arrival of the cruise ships from different countries and on the other Kyllini, with regular ferries to and from the islands of Ionian, Zakynthos and Kefalonia.
Both Katakolo and Kyllini have not been classified as the “gates of tourism”, as thousands of tourists arrive each year to Ancient Olympia and their holiday on the Ionian diamonds.
